Do you want to be rescued or not?

We had a story today in the Press Democrat about two missing hikers who were lost in the Camp Tamarancho area near Fairfax Saturday night but were eventually found three hours later thanks to a CHP helicopter. The story mentioned that this was the third time in three days that rescuers have been dispatched to find missing hikers in Marin County. Headed up a hill, came down to a beach

Matt Davis Trailhead/Steep Ravine, Stinson Beach Yikes. Back on the trail again after another few weeks of traveling. Good to be back in CA and off the airplanes for awhile. Was about a 7.5-mile hike across a couple of trails. Amazing scenery, plenty of views of the ocean for most of the hike. Felt almost like summer. Super-warm, over 70, I think.
