The next public community meeting to discuss the future plans for Taylor Mountain will be Wednesday, June 29, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Santa Rosa.

Sonoma County Regional Parks has been working on a master plan for the future county park that will spell out paths for hiking, bikers and equestrians. This is a continuing process that will conclude in the park being open to the public. The 1,100 acres of land were bought about six years ago from the Levi-Strauss Co. heirs for $18 million.

The open meeting will display the proposed trail maps and other park information. For more details, click here.
