TO EXPLORE 535-ACRE GLEN ELLEN NATURE PRESERVE

The public is invited to the 535-acre Bouverie Preserve of Audubon Canyon Ranch in Glen Ellen to participate in one of its upcoming Fall Guided Nature Walks on October 30, November 13 or November 20. The walks begin at 9:30a.m., end at 1:30p.m. and range from two to five miles in distance. Participants are divided into small groups and paired with a trained volunteer to explore the mixed evergreen forest, oak woodland, and rugged chaparral. Visitors of all ages are welcome.

Bouverie Preserve of Audubon Canyon Ranch is a 535-acre, private, non-profit, nature preserve. In addition to preservation, restoration and research programs, each year Bouverie provides a free, comprehensive environmental education program to over 3,000 third and fourth graders in Sonoma and Napa counties.

There is no fee for this program, however a contribution of $15 per person is suggested and greatly appreciated. All gifts support Audubon Canyon Ranch’s education, conservation and research programs.

To make a reservation, call 707-938-4554 or e-mail bouverie@egret.org. Learn more about Audubon Canyon Ranch, its preserves and programs at www.egret.org.
