Alamere Falls, near Bolinas

Same route as one I did a few months ago, but that was summer-like and now it’s into winter, so the view and terrain were slightly different. Plus, in the hiking group I’ve joined up with, there are lots of people involved so some can make some hikes and others can’t, so I’ve learned that the same route may be done occasionally. OK w/me. I liked the trail the last time – especially scaling down the rocks to stand under the waterfalls and then running on the beach avoiding the

waves as they crash against the cliffs. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday. Yes, it is also how I spent Valentine’s Day 2009. Uh huh. Swirl and spit, please.
